Assessing opportunities for blue carbon ecosystems around Western Port
This project will explore the blue carbon opportunities and environmental and socio-economic benefits in the Mornington Peninsula & Western Port Biosphere Reserve.
It will map the former, current, and potential future distribution of blue carbon ecosystems in the area, and in doing so, estimate the opportunity for restoration and creation of blue carbon ecosystems.
