Creating a major new reserve featuring endangered vegetation types
The Western Grasslands Reserve Program is sponsored by DEECA and is based on land acquisition of Western Plains grassland sites to create a Western Grasslands Reserve managed by Parks Victoria.
A significant effort is required to control invasive species and undertake other management actions to improve the condition of the acquired sites.
