Addressing the growing issue of deer control
The Peri-urban Deer Program is sponsored by DECCA.
It establishes partnerships between Parks Victoria, Local Government, Melbourne Water and other agency and non-Government partners to prioritise deer control across Melbourne’s peri-urban landscape.
A regional “Peri-urban Deer Plan” is being developed under the provisions of Victoria’s Deer Control Strategy. The regional plan will prioritise deer control actions.
