Hydrogeological study for Westernport groundwater basin

A hydrogeological study to investigate and enhance groundwater management in the Westernport groundwater basin

The project will improve the understanding of the hydrogeology of the Westernport Basin, focused on the Koo Wee Rup Water Supply Protection Area. The project includes developing an improved conceptual understanding of the hydrogeology, the groundwater-dependent values and risks, then modelling the impacts of potential water resource management scenarios to inform future management frameworks and decisions.
